✨Making History!✨
On Tuesday, September 27, 2022, honorary guests, Margaret Mattingly, Susan Hardin and Lynne Potter attended the SVDP Outreach Ministries 30 Year Celebration – Ice Cream Social. They are three of our four former SVDP Executive Directors. Theresa “Joan” Swift was SVDP’s first employee & Executive Director. History was captured as Margaret, Susan and Lynne joined Christine Hovan, current Executive Director, for photos. It was a wonderful opportunity for all guests to gather, some meeting for the first time, sharing stories, laughs and making new memories.
Printed copies of our ongoing SVDP Outreach Ministries history book were presented to Father Terry Bradshaw and displayed for viewing at our event. Guests were encouraged to fill out SVDP Memory Pages to share their memories and contributions. Our hope is to add more history to the timeline and continue documenting our journey into the future as we stand by our mission to provide compassion and support to the underserved in our Nelson County community. We could not do this without each of you!
